Our clients came to us looking for a complete overhaul of their existing kitchen and dining room, seeking a space with an entirely new look and feel. We started by opening the wall between the kitchen and dining room to combine the two spaces, creating one large, open room that adjoins to the living room. Ivory-painted maple cabinets help the room feel light and airy, while a sable stain on the custom center island and nearby wine hutch adds a purposeful contrast.
A combination of quartz countertops with the ivory cabinets and granite tops on the island and wine hutch continue to define the contrast. The step-up bar portion of the island, featuring a Michigan-made wood top created by EnGRAIN Wood Countertops, allows our clients to use their new island for entertaining, family meals and more. Professional-grade Thermador appliances complete the look and feel of the updated space. The result is a perfect blend of open space, function, and contrast.
